ABOUT
I started practising yoga 25 years ago to relieve my back pain and soon discovered that the healing power of yoga goes far beyond the physical body.
I am lucky and deeply grateful, to have been guided by extraordinary teachers who have always encouraged me to explore, experiment, feel and understand how different yoga styles and different ways of practicing affected me.
Yoga has transformed my life, giving me the tools to heal my body, calm my mind and connect with the beauty within.
Now it is my reward is to guide students through a journey toward their physical and emotional awareness and wellbeing and see them becoming stronger, more flexible, more confident and happier.
After a career at the United Nations and at the International Institute for Environment and Development, I trained as a yoga teacher with some of the highest regarded teachers such as: Donna Fahri, Jennifer Elliott and Crissy Canning at YogaWorks (Santa Monica-US), and at Triyoga (London-UK) with Anna Ashby and Jean Hall.
I teach Hatha, pre and postnatal and I specialise in yoga for back care. My practice and teaching are inspired by Purusha Hickson.
“Strength, flexibility and balance through letting go”
is my teaching mantra; and relaxation, breathing, correct alignment and fun are key elements of my classes.
